New board members at Acorn Entertainment Group
Acorn Entertainment Group, the creators of Jackalope Junction, the world's first steampunk western storypark, has announced that Klaus Sommer Paulsen and Ecaterina Capatina of AdventureLAB, Denmark have recently joined its board of directors.
Klaus is the founder and CEO creative director of AdventureLAB. He has been working with storytelling and media for more than 30 years, and integrated marketing, digital multimedia and experience design since the mid-1990s. Ecaterina specialises in concept development, strategy and design, focusing on integrating story and experience, applying principles from integrated marketing, interaction design, and more.
“Our aim is to reinvent the theme park experience overall through cohesive storytelling, the same way Walt Disney reinvented the amusement park industry with the creation of Disneyland. We’re very thrilled about this new addition to Acorn Entertainment Group, and what our respective companies can do together to bring Jackalope Junction to Life,” said Acorn’s Greg Schumsky.

Triotech receives two MENALAC Awards
Triotech was recognised with not one, but two MENALAC Awards during the gala evening that took place 29 March in Dubai.
Tornado Springs opens
The first award went to its VR interactive coin-op simulator Storm for Best New Product (FECs Category). The second award went to its interactive attraction Hyper Ride for Best New Concept.
Danish theming firm MK Themed Attractions assisted UK family park Paultons Park in getting its brand-new themed area, Tornado Springs, ready for 12 April by producing and delivering customised props for the entire area.
