Leading Indian manufacturer and designer of water slides and rides Arihant Water Park Equipment, has completed projects across the globe, with Arihant products featuring in waterparks, resorts, hotels, campgrounds and splash parks in 62 countries. Park World caught up with the manufacturer to find out more about two recent projects in particular - one in the Democratic Republic of Congo, and one in Kuwait.
A
qua Splash Water Park, located in Kinshasa, the capital and the largest city of the Democratic Republic of the Congo,
is one of Arihant’s latest completed projects. Now open to the public, the Aqua Splash Water
Park spreads across an area of 4.5 acres, and features a number of exclusive attractions, built to global standards by Arihant. With careful master planning, the attraction has been designed and curated to suit all guests. The park zoning has been completed to keep in mind visitor movement patterns and other guest-specific requirements, resulting in a seamless guest experience. There are multiple ‘wow-attractions’ in every zone to keep guests engaged and thrilled. Aqua Splash Water Park also has a customised
themed water play structure, with eight slides and interactive water features that are designed specifically for kids and families. The customised theme developed for the attraction provides a unique interactive experience for waterpark guests. Other key attractions planned for the park
include three lane Spider slides, Crusader, River ride, Tots Activity for the adventures loves, Crazy Cruise Freefall, Crazy Cruise Wavy, Typhoon Tunnel Slide, Wave Pool, Lazy River and Crazy River.
Kuwait’s largest water park One of the most successful leisure and entertainment groups in Kuwait has partnered with Arihant Waterpark Equipment for a major expansion project, to build the largest aqua park in Kuwait. This entertainment conglomerate owns and operates premium leisure assets including Aqua Park, Dino Adventures, Cartoon Network World, Casper Scare School, Discovery and Happy Land in the Kingdom of KSA, or Kuwait. The company has well over two million visitors annually spread across 16 locations in the state of Kuwait and beyond. Interestingly, Arihant and this investor had
associated 12 years ago for an existing aqua park. The alliance has stayed strong all these years thanks to the trust that the investor places in Arihant’s product performance, quality, and technical expertise after sales service. The new park will spread across 16 acres, with
a capacity of handling up to 6000 guests per day. The attractions have been designed and curated

to suit the thrill-palette of all guest demographics, and the park zoning has been designed to accommodate visitor movement patterns and other guest specific requirements. The park will host the first Blizzard slide in
the Middle East region. Blizzard waterslide is a proprietary Arihant attraction - it involves straight, zero gravity and high-G centrifugal turns to give riders a never-before-experienced ride path. The Blizzard has received several awards for being India’s first compound motion slide. Recently, it won the CII Award for Design Excellence in the Leisure Product category. In addition to Blizzard, the park will also host
a humongous themed water play structure, with eight slides and interactive water features that are designed specifically for kids and families. A customised theme has been developed for the attraction with the aim of providing a unique interactive experience for the guests. Other key attractions planned for the park include a thrilling six-lane, head-first Mat Racing Spider Slide for the adventure lovers; four-seater signature thrill rides like the Funnel from a whopping six stories high, and the country’s first Bowl N Bowl raft slide. Countries in the Middle East are investing
heavily in the leisure and hospitality sector to boost their tourism, and projects like this will help to put Kuwait on the tourism map.
