Phantom Theater

reigns in the Phantom Theater. The new dark ride experience seamlessly blends quirky chaos with unique characters and expanded scenes. The adventure begins on a dark and stormy night, as guests arrive for the grand reopening and the return of Maestro, the resident organist. Their search leads them to explore backstage areas, haunted corridors, dressing rooms, and the fiery boiler room. Along the way they come up close with eccentric animatronic performers including Houdelini, The Great Garbanzo, Hilda Bovine, Lionel Burymore, and Maestro himself. These classic characters, and new surprises like Arpeggio the cat, bring the experience to life. 33 animatronics, 26 interactive scenes, and multi- sensory effects including wind and sound fully surround guests and their journey culminates in a spectacular on-stage musical finale with the entire cast. This new evolution demonstrates how parks

can lean into history and nostalgia while creating new, memorable ride experiences. The story of the Phantom Theater first opened at Kings Island in 1992. Considered a groundbreaking dark ride for its time, Phantom Theater transported guests through the eerie, crumbling halls of a haunted opera. Led by the unforgettable Maestro, the ride combined elaborate sets, atmospheric effects, and original characters to create a chilling yet
