Stefan Rothaug, Director of Sales & Marketing, Brogent
Park World’s Matt Broughton sat down with Stefan Rothaug, Director of Sales & Marketing, to discuss all things Brogent.
Matt: Stefan, please could you tell us about your industry background before Brogent. Stefan: I started as a freelance writer for trade magazines in our industry 25 years ago. On the way I did internships and part time work at the marketing departments of Phantasialand, Fort Fun and Panorama Park in Germany before life let me to Taiwan and I joined Brogent Technologies.
Matt: How did you come to be Sales & Marketing Director? Stefan: studied marketing and economics and through my work as a journalist and with operators I had some insight into the themed entertainment market. At an IAAPA trade show in 2010 I was introduced to Brogent and since I had recently settled down in Taiwan it was a great opportunity and good fit to join the marketing team there. Later my responsibilities were extended, and I also got involved in sales.
Matt: What are you responsible for on a day-to-day basis? Stefan: We are a team of 25 people handling everything from Marketing & Sales to Aftersales and Repair Services. We are in R&D meetings to discuss the

future product roadmap, see clints at trade shows and visit them at their venues and help to maintain and repair the rides. Our goal is to support all our clients and partners in their goal to create unforgettable experiences for their guests. And my role is to support the team to reach our goal.
Matt: How do you describe Brogent and what would you say it excels at? Stefan: rogent Technologies is a globally acclaimed leader in creating innovative, media-based attractions that blend storytelling with cutting-edge technology. We are most famous for our flying theaters but really do any type of media-based motion base attractions, which means everything that combines AV technology with simulated motion and 4D special effects.
