where Lego creatures come to life with an all-new 4D movie, Lego Mythica – Journey to Mythica, and an augmented reality (AR) experience now open at the Fun Town Theater in Legoland Florida Resort, Winter Haven, Florida.
Live Action Attractions Part of Avengers Campus at Disney’s California Adventure at Disneyland, Anaheim, California, the Dr. Strange “encounter” will be a special effects stage show.
At Florida’s Epcot, the “Harmonious”

The fireworks and laser show will feature massive floating set pieces, LED panels and choreographed fountain displays. The show takes over the World Showcase Lagoon following a limited run of “Epcot Forever.” Indiana Beach Amusement & Water

Atlantic City, New Jersey’s new open container law that permits the drinking of adult beverages on the city’s beach and Boardwalk, the Steel Pier has replaced their original Pub on the Boardwalk with a new 30 by eight foot portable facility from Concession Nation of Deerfield Beach, Florida. The Pub specializes in a variety of frozen drinks, and now also offers six different beers on tap plus bottles.
Wooden Coasters Gwazi used to be a wooden coaster but it has been transformed into Iron Gwazi, a 4,075 foot long hybrid coaster from Rocky Mountain Construction (RMC). It was built using part of the wooden structure from Gwazi. After a year’s delay it will finally open at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay. The re- imagined ride incorporates RMC’s IBox type of steel track on a wooden structure, making it a hybrid wooden/steel coaster. Iron Gwazi will be the fastest and steepest ride of its kind. With a maximum height of 206 feet and a top speed of 76 mph, it promises 12 airtime features, including three inversions. Seabreeze, Rochester, New York, plans
an ongoing celebration of the centennial of the Jack Rabbit, the park’s iconic woodie. It is North America’s oldest continually operating roller coaster. At Frontier City, Oklahoma City,
Oklahoma, their Wildcat wooden coaster gets all new trains.
Steel Coasters Among those coasters delayed from opening last year is the Jersey Devil coaster. Six Flags Great Adventure, Jackson, New Jersey, will shatter three world records when it debuts a coaster of legendary proportions, the tallest, fastest, and longest single rail coaster. From Rocky Mountain Construction, the Jersey Devil will tower 13 stories and reach speeds up to 58 mph (93 kph) as riders soar through the dark and foreboding woods along 3,000 feet (914 m) of track. With a larger footprint than other single-rail rides, its orange-hued track will offer a bit more time between elements. SeaWorld San Diego will introduce
Busch Gardens Iron Gwazi
Emperor, a dive coaster from Bolliger & Mabillard. It will be the tallest (153 feet or 47 m), fastest, and longest dive coaster in California, as well as the only floorless dive
