TNI Group and KAPRAIN opened Majaland Praha. Located in Prague it is the country’s largest indoor amusement park covering 9000 m2, with 12 rides including a roller coaster which is 220 meters long and over nine metres high. In Denmark, only a 10-minute drive
north of Copenhagen, amusement park Bakken invested in two new flat rides, Move-It and Nebulaz supplied by KMG and Zamperla respectively. Fårup Sommerland, meanwhile, invested
in a new tractor ride for 2021 called Skovturen, while Tivoli Gardens opened Villa Vendetta, a new walkthrough haunted house attraction. Boasting a playground and three new
rides, including the first flying theatre attraction in Scandinavia the highly anticipated Lego Movie World, based on the hit movies THE LEGO MOVIE 1 and 2 opened at Legoland Billund. Flagship attraction, Emmet’s Flying Adventure – Masters of Flight was supplied by Brogent Technologies. The ride takes guests on a flight in Emmet’s triple-decker couch, while watching a captivating film on a big 180-degree dome screen along with

a whole host of special effects, including wind and smells for full immersion in the story. The Lego Movie World at Legoland
Billund was developed by Merlin Entertainments in partnership with Warner Bros and Lego. In France, Disney’s Hotel New York –
The Art of Marvel opened at Disneyland Paris. Just a short walk – or free shuttle – away from the Parks, Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel pays tribute to the home of Marvel Super Heroes and the artists who created them. According to Disneyland Paris it offers “premium comfort and personalised services, while celebrating New York City’s culture and vibrant energy, styled as a New York art gallery.”
With suppliers including ECA2, it was
curtains up for Futuroscope’s new nighttime spectacular, La Clé des Songes; while a splash battle ride by SBF Visa called Octopus Splash Attack made its debut splash at Kingoland. A new hotel, Le PAL Savana RESERVE
opened in Le Pal’s five-hectare wildlife park. It has 60 family suites, spread over five buildings linked by walkways on three levels. All the rooms, the “Victoria” restaurant and the bar area offer breathtaking views of the savannah, populated by giraffes, rhinos and antelopes. Mer de Sable opened Silver Mountain,
a roller coaster supplied by Vekoma Rides Manufacturing; while Parc du Bocasse was thrilled to introduce an inverted family coaster by Vekoma Rides, which it named Orochi. Parc Spiro is understood to have
invested in seven novelties in 2021, including an interactive western village, an arcade and a playground; while plant theme park Terra Botanica opened new adventure area, Les mystères de la forêt for guests to enjoy.
