New Lands On July 18, 2020, Disneyland, Anaheim, California, had just announced an opening date for Avengers Campus at Disney’s California Adventure when the State of California closed all its parks because of the pandemic. It will now open in 2021. The highly-anticipated superhero land is next to the existing Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: Breakout drop tower ride, which would be thematically tied to the other Marvel attractions. It will include a Spider-Man attraction, Dr. Strange mystic arts encounter, Ant-Man and the Wasp restaurant, and a Marvel Character meet- and-greet. Billed as the world’s largest Legoland
theme park, the 500-acre Legoland New York will take visitors on a journey through eight themed lands. The Factory is the beginning of the experience. Once guests pass under the iconic arch, they’re in a world that appears to be built of Lego bricks, and their first stop is the Great Lego Adventure. This ride, which is exclusive to Legoland New York, will let them feel what it’s like to be a Lego Minifigure, as they
travel through the manufacturing process, into a box, and into the hands of a child just waiting to build. Other themed lands include Bricktopia, Pirate Shores, Lego Ninjago World, Knights’ Kingdom, Lego City, and Heartlake City. The centerpiece will be Miniland with iconic real-world buildings and places made with Lego bricks. Michigan’s Adventure is getting ready to
open both of its Muskegon County amusement parks for the first time since the pandemic gripped Michigan. When the doors open, so will a new children’s area, Camp Snoopy. It features five family-friendly rides and a playground, including Camp Bus, Beagle Scout Lookout, Pig Pen’s Mud Buddies, Peanuts Trailblazers, and Woodstock Express, all from Zamperla, and Beagle Scout Acres, a play area. Legoland Florida Resort, Winter Haven,
Florida, has opened Planet Legoland. This new immersive build experience encourages children and their parents to unleash their imaginations by building, unbuilding and rebuilding the world of their dreams with, of course, Lego bricks.
Multimedia Attractions Lego Movie World will open at Legoland California, the Carlsbad kiddie park with a Emmet’s Flying Adventure, a flying theater from Brogent Technologies.
