Infinity Falls debuts at SeaWorld Orlando

eaWorld Orlando has introduced Infinity Falls, an eight seat whitewater raft ride by Intamin. Infinity Falls features rapids, soaking fountains and a record- setting 12 m waterfall drop, all against the backdrop of a rainforest utopia.


Guests have the opportunity to take on the role of a conservationist on a journey through the rainforest and learn about the importance of freshwater conservation through interactive games and stories throughout the ride experience. Mark Pauls, president of SeaWorld Orlando Parks said “From the excitement of the


thrilling rapids, to the unique vertical lift element, Infinity Falls is an adventure that appeals to the entire family.” Infinity Falls joins SeaWorld’s ever-growing ride portfolio, including roller coasters of Mako, Manta and Kraken and the water flume Journey to Atlantis.


Fernando Eiroa steps down as CEO of Parques Reunidos


Parques Reunidos’ Board of Directors has accepted the resignation of Fernando Eiroa as chief executive officer (CEO) of the Company and as a member of the Board, as well as from all other positions he held at the Company, effective immediately. “After many years working with Fernando in Parques Reunidos,” added Golding, “I can only say that he has played a major role in the Company’s success story.” The Company has now launched a search for a new CEO. Meanwhile, the non-executive chairman Richard Golding has agreed to provide continuity of leadership and oversight until a new CEO is found.


accesso partners up with Google and Groupon


Leading leisure technology solutions provider, accesso Technology Group, has announced two new partnerships – with Google and Groupon. accesso's Google partnership will connect accesso clients with Google users through a new customer engagement channel available in late Autumn. Clients will have the option to make their inventory bookable on Google Maps, Search and Assistant via accesso’s Ingresso distribution platform. Google users will be able to purchase tickets to accesso-supported venues and entertainment directly from Google Search, Maps and the Assistant. Meanwhile, accesso’s partnership with Groupon will utilise the Ingresso distribution platform to allow for a seamless mobile experience for Groupon customers.
