onstruction has started on Harbin Paradise Park, a major mixed-use and entertainment complex in Harbin, China. ITEC Entertainment Corp. is
providing master planning and concept design services for Harbin Paradise Park and what will become the first Ripley’s Believe It or Not! attraction located in China. The park will be teamed with the first Ripley’s Believe It or Not! attraction located in China, plus two other major themed attraction areas in the development, with the aim of forming a major entertainment destination in Harbin. Rainforest Bay Aqua Park - a multi-story indoor water
park with pools and caverns, cabanas and multiple slides, zip lines and elevated activity gazebos – will cater to families, and aiming to draw shoppers after their Ripley’s and water park experience will be a commercial sector with nearly a mile of storefronts inspired by world continents. Rainforest Bay Aqua Park and the Ripley’s Believe It or Not! attraction areas are slated for a 2019 opening.
Three new rides announced for Gardaland’s Peppa Pig Land
Italian theme park Gardaland, part of the Merlin Entertainments group, has announced three new rides that will feature in its new branded area Peppa Pig Land, which opens for the upcoming season. A flight on the multi-coloured hot air balloons of Peppa’s Big Balloon Ride, by
Technical Park, gives a birds eye view of the park. Grandpa Pig’s Train Ride and the Pirate Island Boat Ride are both by Metallbau. Visitors will also have the chance to meet Peppa and George and jump in the

famous “muddy puddles” featured in the hit television show. Peppa Pig Land will be located next to Fantasy Kingdom and will offer young fans a fully immersive experience that brings to life the fun of Peppa Pig. The new area extends Gardaland’s offering for preschoolers, which already includes Prezzemolo Land, Prezzemolo Magic Village and Kung Fu Panda Academy.
