German innovation in motion Simtec Systems is one of the leading entertainment attraction suppliers, especially for customised simulator systems such as flying theatres, motion simulator cinemas and dark rides. Our competence is not limited to building and


developing motion platforms; we also provide other elements for simulation attractions, such as media content, AV technology and screens. In 2018 Simtec enlarged its product portfolio


with the designed of the award winning interactive Digital signage system – ScreenFLITE®.


Our product portfolio includes: HEXaFLITE® Flying Theatre Simtec’s HEXaFLITE® Flying Theater represents the new generation of flying theater simulator attractions. With a breathtaking initial movement the visitors are tilted in front of the movie and experience a high dynamic fully immersive simulator ride. • Compact seating in the centre of the screen • Variety of special effects, e. g. scent, wind, spritz, rain


• Large movement in all six degrees of freedom for smooth soaring and dynamic movements


• Available with 20, 40, 72/80 seats • Turn-key attraction including screen, projection, audio-video system and media content

FUNRIDE Simulator Rides – (also realised as Immersive Tunnel attractions) • Motion systems with up to six degrees of freedom • Up to 96 passengers in an open theatre or closed cabin configuration


• FUNRIDE TR with turntable – 360° rotation in both directions


• 3D projection systems • Customised interior theming • Optional special effects • Turnkey attraction including screen, projection, audio-video system and media content


Interactive Dark Ride • Combination of traditional dark ride concept with the fun of competing with each other seen in modern video games

ScreenFLITE® - Digital Signage System • Twelve LED displays with about 2m² each arrange to form different patterns in an elaborated dance

Key markets We cover parks, malls, airports, museums, zoos and aquariums and other tourist destinations. Our customers are mainly based in Europe and Asia.


Company strengths We seize our customers’ ideas and suggestions and in close co-operation create individual simulation attractions. We are flexible in time and design and also offer turnkey solutions.


2019 and beyond In 2019 Simtec will hand over some of the projects with installations that started in late 2018, including twp HEXaFLITE® 72 systems for Wanda in Guangzhou and two in Wuxi; both have a spherical LED screen. We have also begun the installation of a


HEXaFLITE®72 system in Kunming, with another planned for later this year in Chengdu. Installation of two HEXaFLITE® 72 systems will


start on Hainan Island this summer. In spring of this year, Simtec will also finish the


installation of the first HEXaFLITE® system in Europe at the Cinecitta Park in Rome, together with another HEXaFLITE®20 system project also in Europe. In addition, Simtec will install its first FUNRIDE


30 closed cabin system in Doha in the Middle East To be able to handle this increasing number of


projects Simtec has significantly invested in its office and production facilities in Germany and China. The team in Germany and China also continue to grow significantly. Our goal will be to stay flexible in the design


of new ride systems adjusted to the need of our clients and to increase the number of partners all over the world.
