Irvine Ondrey Engineering (IOE) prides itself on offering the finest quality attraction controls and service with a focus on making your


opening day a success. We work with amusement attractions because we love them: IOE is a company with a true dedication and passion for the amusement industry. Founded by a husband-and-wife team with


decades of experience in the industry, the IOE team has a deep understanding of attraction safety, reliability, and efficiency, fostered by both industry knowledge and our collective enthusiasm for rides themselves.


Products and services IOE provides complete control systems for new roller coasters, water rides/slides, flat rides, and many other attraction types; as well as retrofitted systems for existing attractions; professional engineer certification and services; on-site engineering; supplemental commissioning support and consulting for any attraction control system project or concern. We love challenges! If it’s in a park, we’ll be happy to assist you; we are not limited to roller coasters or large-scale attractions.

We have also created a support organization,


IOE Rising, especially for students and young professionals wishing to join the amusement industry. An online group provides a venue for IOE staff to provide aid and encouragement to students. Exclusive events for group members occur throughout the year for networking and fun!


Did you know? We are the only woman-owned controls company in the industry. Outreach to students and young professionals is a crucial part of our company’s mission. We are proud to partner with Cedar Fair in speaking at their Engineering Day STEM student events at multiple CF parks each year. Vast experience in public speaking- staff loves being a part of student, scouting, and enthusiast events. We host a popular Facebook page with an


enthusiastic following of both coaster lovers and students; IOE is committed to being as open as we can about our work and encouraging other professionals in reaching out to industry fans. IOE also encourages collaboration and


cooperation between all members of the amusement industry community through mentoring and events for our industry colleagues.
