COVER STORY – INTERBLOCK

the company accelerated both product development and strategic M&A. In 2023, Interblock acquired Aruze Gaming’s ETG assets, deepening the dice and roulette portfolio; after re-engineering these titles with Interblock software, Roll to Win Craps, Shoot to Win Craps, and Roulette Xplosion (formerly Lucky Roulette) now run on Interblock’s platform and will be presented at G2E 2025.

In 2024, Interblock acquired a majority stake in Zuum Limited - expanding approachable ETG options and opening a path into slots - to be showcased at G2E 2025 while maintaining a shared design standard, analytics, and service model that keep mixed fl oors cohesive. Interblock also reaffi rmed its commitment to Tribal gaming in the U.S. with a new Class II portfolio tailored to a broad range of property profi les. In parallel, the company was building something entirely new: AMUSE, introduced in October 2024 as a fourth category on the casino fl oor alongside slots, table games, and ETGs.

AMUSE: THE FOURTH CATEGORY AMUSE is developed for players of legal age and introduces a new style of play that expands casino audiences and delivers experiences unlike anything else on the floor. Built entirely around amusement-style titles powered by RNG wagering, AMUSE is approachable, visually magnetic, and engineered with the rigor and reliability operators expect - appealing to table-game loyalists and guests who usually skip the tables.

At G2E 2024, the debut of AMUSE earned standout recognition by industry professionals. Three titles - Marble Run, Bingo, and Frenzy Roulette - were named “Most Innovative Technology” among more than 400 exhibitors in the Eilers-Fantini G2E Vendor Survey, with Marble Run securing nearly four times the votes of the next closest product. With its new lineup, Interblock is poised to capture industry attention once again in 2025. “The overwhelming response to our AMUSE category, and particularly Marble Run, affirms our role in leading gaming innovation,” said John Connelly. “We are focused on creating unique, player-centric experiences that add value for our partners and push the boundaries of what’s possible in the gaming world.” At G2E 2025, the spotlight falls on more than a dozen new and enhanced AMUSE titles. Free Fall Roulette - the fi rst AMUSE title to launch on casino fl oors - pairs a pinball-style ball drop with paced suspense as the ball navigates a neon-lit path before settling in the wheel pocket. Bingo reimagines a timeless classic; a single RNG powers multiple play styles, and a striking spherical presentation with brisk cadence welcomes a wide spectrum of players. Marble Run turns momentum into spectacle as marbles race through engineered tracks toward suspense-fi lled outcomes. Dragon Roulette,

developed by Interblock’s Japan-based team, reinvents roulette with a glowing wheel, an oversized ball, and cinematic bonus sequences that keep anticipation high.

WHY IT MATTERS

This new category was designed to attract a new type of player - and wallet - while bridging the habits of a generation that discovered games online before stepping onto a casino fl oor. For operators, the benefi t is breadth from a single partner: AMUSE, ETGs, slots, and table games delivered with common ergonomics, analytics, and support. With gaming continuing to expand, Interblock’s market presence has grown far beyond what was imaginable when the company was founded just over 35 years ago. The mandate remains the same: combine innovation with operator-ready design to create products that perform.

WHAT’S NEXT

Interblock’s plan for the future is focused and pragmatic. The company will scale AMUSE as a true fourth category by continuing to launch titles that are easy to understand, easy to enter, and satisfying to revisit - earning permanent fl oor space through performance. It will deepen the connections between live, automated, and video modes so experiences and costs can be tuned by hour and by zone. And it will extend the ecosystem with analytics, content pipelines, and partnerships that make it easier to launch, refi ne, and sustain products across markets. The objective is constant: high-performance solutions and memorable player experiences delivered through disciplined innovation and operator-ready design.

Connelly notes progress comes from data-driven decision-making and a culture that favors leadership over imitation. Pushing hard means learning fast, and that mindset created the conditions for AMUSE to exist at all. “We take great pride in being an innovation leader,” Connelly states. “We aspire for Interblock to be synonymous with table game innovation in every sense of the defi nition.”

G2E 2025

G2E 2025 will make this strategy visible at a glance, spanning every sector of the casino fl oor: an AMUSE showcase with over a dozen new titles, an ETG environment featuring enhanced standalones and live table games, and a curated slots lineup – with consistency where it matters: design, ingenuity, and measurable results. Interblock exhibits at Booth #1239 at the Venetian Expo. For meetings and demos, contact sales@interblockgaming.com. Beyond the booth, John Connelly will present “Game Settings for Success: Proven Ways to Boost Machine Profi t with Manufacturer Options” with fellow industry peers on Tuesday, October 7, from 3:10–4:00 PM in Titian 2303. With AMUSE, Interblock expands the casino fl oor - widening who plays and why they stay.
