G2E REVIEW
Linked Progressive attracted attention with its unique jackpot mechanics, offering visitors an extra thrill and elevating the excitement on multigame machines to a new level. With unlimited free games, bonus features, and a jackpot reel, Clash Link offers a high frequency of diverse features that keep the action continuously at its peak. The innovative Triple Trigger Mechanic and the Dynamic Ways Mechanism add the crowning touch to this jackpot system. Merkur Gaming presented its first-class content to G2E visitors on the equally first-class Mod Ex cabinet. It stood out from other cabinets at the trade fair, primarily due to its unprecedented modularity and exceptional flexibility, allowing the monitor, base, and body to be freely configured according to player preferences and customer needs. A total of seven different monitor configurations are available, including two 27-inch monitors, three 32-inch monitors, and a J-curved monitor with or without a 27-inch topper. The body also offers a choice, as customers can choose between a traditional mechanical panel and a state-of-the-art video button panel. The base is available in three sizes: Slant Top Low (32 cm), Slant Top (36 cm), and Upright (42 cm). Thanks to its modern and sleek design, the Mod Ex in stylish space grey fits perfectly into any casino setup, while the rainbow LED lighting components in the body and base subtly draw the player’s attention, adding color and vibrancy to the gaming experience.
In keeping with tradition, several other subsidiaries of the German Merkur Group traveled to “Sin City” to showcase their diverse and forward-thinking portfolios. The cash- handling experts from GeWeTe once again demonstrated the strengths of their versatile and high-performance product range, which enables efficient and easy cash management at gambling locations. The Cash Center Premium attracted significant interest, offering high banknote capacity ideal for high-volume operations. The newer models, Cash Center Smart and Cash Center Smart Coin, both optimal for locations with limited space, also garnered strong demand, proving that GeWeTe continues to meet the needs of its customers.
In addition to the cash-handling experts, the British subsidiary Bede Gaming was also present in the Merkur World. The company is recognized as one of the leading supplier of software for the online gambling industry, powering some of the sector‘s biggest brands. At G2E, Bede Gaming showcased its flexible and innovative iGaming solutions, which assist pioneering operators in achieving their digital ambitions across lottery, casino, sports betting, and bingo. For the first time, the two strategic partners Spintec and Gaming Arts joined the trade show booth, enriching Merkur’s exhibition at G2E 2024 with their innovative gaming portfolios and making it even more diverse and engaging. Spintec, a global leader in the development, design, manufacturing, and supply of ultimate electronic table games, showcased its successful new Charisma line. This product line impressed with its innovative design, featuring intuitive touchscreen controls, outstanding seating comfort, and crystal-clear graphics on high- resolution monitors. With regular live tournaments at the booth, Spintec also showed and proved how easy it is to transform a casino into a dynamic social gaming venue. But that’s not all: Another highlight was the presentation of the Charisma Craps, shown in a four-seat version with an
appealing animated topper and LED lighting. Gaming Arts presented its latest products at G2E, which enhance the gaming experience with cutting edge technology and captivating gameplay for Class 3, HHR, Keno, and Bingo systems. Among these was Big Catch Bass Fishing™, a top rated online-to-land based game boasting the popular Cash on Reels Feature, attractive jackpots, a striking art package, and the chance for players to acquire big wins. Gaming Arts also introduced Brian Christopher’s World Cruise™, a new game developed in collaboration with the renowned YouTube slot influencer. Brian Christopher personally visited the Merkur booth at G2E to showcase the new hit, drawing a large crowd to the stand. In addition to these new games, Merkur Gaming and Gaming Arts jointly unveiled the Mod Ex cabinet for the U.S. market. The Mod Ex US was presented in a three 32-inch monitor configuration and as a 55-inch J-curved model, expected to be available in 2025. “The G2E 2024 has exceeded our expectations in every way. The new booth concept, which includes a larger footprint and stylish new design elements, was met with tremendous approval.
