Coljuegos inauguró CIAC para vigilar el recaudo y combatir la ilegalidad
Como parte del proceso de modernización tecnológica, este el miércoles 16 de octubre pasado se inauguró el Centro de Inteligencia Artificial de Coljuegos, CIAC, una herramienta que permitirá monitorear la actividad de apuestas en línea ilegales, así como vigilar en tiempo real las transferencias que realizan los 3.656 establecimientos de juegos localizados autorizados por la entidad. El CIAC cuenta con una plataforma inteligente de administración y control de los juegos de suerte y azar, por medio del cual es posible identificar el proceso de transmisión de datos de las 107.150 máquinas electrónicas tragamonedas y 16.645 sillas de bingo que operan de manera legal en el país. En otras palabras, dicho sistema permite saber de manera exacta cuánto transfiere cada uno de los elementos de juego autorizados. De igual manera, el CIAC cuenta con un tablero de control de la ilegalidad en Internet, el cual fue desarrollado con el apoyo de Kiggu, empresa especializada en ciberseguridad. A través de esta herramienta, es posible identificar páginas ilícitas en la web, deep web y darknet, así como proteger la marca de los 16 operadores autorizados de
apuestas en línea frente a posibles casos de duplicidad de sus portales.
En el mismo sentido, este tablero permite hacer rastreos de perfiles de redes sociales que operan rifas ilegales y promocionan sitios de apuestas no autorizadas. Además, allí se obtienen reportes de posibles ataques cibernéticos contra los sitios de apuestas legales.
El tercer tablero del CIAC se encarga del monitoreo de la infraestructura tecnológica de Coljuegos, permitiendo a la entidad mantener un nivel de rendimiento óptimo de sistemas como SICOL, Portal del operador, Correo electrónico, Gestión Documental, servidores, estabilización de la red y demás servicios que garantizan el correcto funcionamiento de la entidad. Adicionalmente, un cuarto tablero se enfoca en el seguimiento detallado de los trámites que realizan los operadores de juegos localizados para el pronto despacho de las solicitudes de nuevos contratos y renovaciones.

CIAC set up to monitor revenue collection and combat illegality
As part of the technological modernization process, on Wednesday, October 16, Colombia’s regulator launched the Coljuegos Artificial Intelligence Center, CIAC, as a tool that will monitor the activity of illegal online betting, as well as monitor in real time the revenue transfers made by the 3,656 localized gaming establishments authorized by Coljuegos. CIAC has been set up with an intelligent platform for the administration and control of games of gambling operations in Colombia, through which it is possible to identify data transmission process of 107,150 electronic slot machines and 16,645 bingo seats that operate legally in the country. In other words, this system allows everyone to know exactly how much each of the authorized gambling elements in Colombia transfers to the regulator. Similarly, CIAC has a control panel for illegal activity on Internet. The tool was developed with the support of Kiggu, a company specializing in cybersecurity. Through this tool,
it is possible to identify illegal pages on the web, deep web and darknet, as well as to protect the brand of the 16 authorized online betting operators against possible cases of duplication of their betting portals.
In the same sense, the control panel allows tracking of social media profiles that operate illegal lotteries, raffles and promote unauthorized betting sites. Additionally, there is a provision for reports of possible cyberattacks against legal gambling sites. A third CIAC panel is responsible for monitoring Coljuegos’ technological infrastructure, allowing the entity to maintain an optimal level of performance of systems such as SICOL, Operator Portal, Email, Document Management, servers, network stabilization and other services that guarantee the correct functioning of the entity. Additionally, a fourth panel focuses on detailed monitoring of procedures carried out by localized gaming operators for the prompt dispatch of applications relating to new contracts and contract renewals.
