Eso, si, lo que no pueden hacer funcionarios ni políticos es cambiar el ritmo de crecimiento de la industria de apuestas y juegos de azar, presencial y online en la región, y desde Tegucigalpa, capital de Honduras, la emisora local Radio América ha reportado que la diputada Dunia Jiménez, “socializa un anteproyecto de ley para la regulación de casinos en línea”, adelantando que ha sostenido reuniones con empresarios alemanes representantes de al menos 34 compañías en 27 países.
Por su parte, en Ecuador, la administración del Presidente de Ecuador, Daniel Noboa, a través del Decreto Ejecutivo 421 emitido el 14 de octubre permitirá difundir publicidad de apuestas deportivas en los medios de comunicación, mediante una reforma al reglamento a la Ley Orgánica de Comunicación, que elimina una frase relacionada con la publicidad sobre juegos de azar, legalizando la difusión de publicidad en medios de comunicación sobre sistemas de apuestas o predicciones deportivas en el país. Y con esto salimos hacia México, donde nos espera el GAT Caribe Cancún, los días 26 y 27 de noviembre ¡allá nos vemos!

Intendente promueve la licitación del Casino de Necochea
El intendente de Necochea, Arturo Rojas, fue clarísimo en un reporte, a mediados de octubre, sobre la futura licitación de las máquinas tragamonedas del Casino de Necochea, exponiendo que: “El objetivo es encontrar inversores que puedan hacerse cargo de la remodelación y reestructuración del complejo casino, ya que el municipio no está en condiciones de hacerlo”, y añadiendo que, “espera que en el transcurso de esta semana se tenga contacto con la provincia para discutir los pliegos de la licitación, que había sido postergada”. Según Rojas, la licitación de las máquinas tragamonedas podría impulsar un “desarrollo urbanístico que dé un nuevo empuje a la problemática que la ciudad viene enfrentando desde hace décadas”. Rojas añadió, que “la decisión política es avanzar en este proceso y que se está en contacto con la provincia para que avance en la parte de lotería y casinos.
La licitación del casino es considerada urgente por los trabajadores del casino, quienes destacan que la falta de máquinas tragamonedas es una traba para la llegada de empresas privadas que quieran invertir en el complejo.
ARGENTINA Mayor promotes Necochea Casino tender
The mayor of Necochea, Arturo Rojas, was very clear in a report in mid-October about a future tender for slot machines in Casino de Necochea. The casino tender is considered urgent by casino workers, who emphasize that the lack of slot machines is an obstacle to the arrival of private companies that want to invest in the Necochea complex.
