SIS Signs Agreement with South Africa’s 4Racing


SIS (Sport Information Services), the leading content provider of 24/7 live betting services has agreed a new partnership with South African rights holder 4Racing that marks the return of South African racing to SIS, covering action from tracks all over the country, including Durbanville, Fairview, Kenilworth, Turffontein, and Vaal. 4Racing is re-energising and invigorating the horse racing industry in


South Africa with a commitment to diversity and transparency in its relationships with stakeholders, designing and implementing a series of new projects and strategies for the betterment of the sport. The latest deal reinforces the commitment of SIS to international


horse racing, which includes events from Africa, Asia, Europe, Ireland, Latin America, North America, Saudi Arabia, U.A.E., and the UK. Conall McSorley, head of International Horse Racing at SIS, said: “It is


fantastic to be working with 4Racing to bring its action to our valued customers in the UK and Ireland. Africa to Get Landmark Entertainment Complex


Further details have been released on the upcoming multifunctional attraction in Zanzibar, Tanzania. The Indian-based developer JHIL Enterprises is behind the complex,


which, according to ET Travel World, will cost in the region of US$30m. It will be located in the Fumba Uptown development. The Guardian reported that it is set to be Africa’s first multi-utility global standards project, encompassing entertainment such as a sports zone with 12 facilities, five of which will be managed by a Norweigan sports management company, a theatre and cultural arcade, a shopping village, with global F&B refreshments, a leisure zone, and tourism zone. Esteemed personalities were present at the foundation stone laying


ceremony in June, including famed cricketer Sunil Gavaskar, theatre and film personality Kunal Kapoor, founder of Dubai-based Visa Facilitation Services Zubin Karkaria and 15 other Investors, planners and operations partners from India, Ireland and Norway. A projected opening date for the 37-acre complex has not yet been


released, though it is understood that construction is set to begin as soon as the final permissions have been received.
