Christopher Justice, president of Global Payments Gaming Solutions spoke to GIO about its partnership with Circa Sports Colorado, the first online sports betting operator to integrate its new online banking feature.
GIO: What is your background in the industry?
Christopher Justice: I am Christopher Justice, a veteran leader in the payment and commerce industry. With more than 25 years of experience, my career spans executive leadership roles at CenPOS, Century Payments, Ingenico Merchant Link and First Data. Currently, I serve as president of Global Payments Gaming Solutions, a division of Global Payments, a leading worldwide provider of payment technology services. GIO: Circa Sports Colorado is the first online sports betting operator to integrate Global Payments’ new online banking feature. How did this partnership begin? Can you tell us about this feature? CJ: This partnership began when Circa Sports Colorado sought to improve their classic wagering sports betting experience to implement forward-thinking technology to its existing sports betting platform. The online banking feature seamlessly integrated into Circa Sports Colorado’s platform which contained Global Payments Gaming Solutions latest enhancements. With VIP Preferred, Circa Sports Colorado became the first sports betting operator to incorporate faster, simpler, and safer payment technology. The technology of VIP Preferred allows for easy account enrolment and safe and simple funding and cashing out.
GIO: What are the benefits of this feature to the player and the operator? CJ: There are several benefits of VIP Preferred that casinos and online sports betting operators like Circa Sports Colorado will be able to take advantage of like simple and faster payments for patrons and improvements in operators’ day-to-day tasks. VIP Preferred is designed to increase enrolment approval, improve enrolment speed, eliminate manual entry mishaps, and emphasise safety and security. The main benefit of the online banking feature is that operators will

see a considerable boost in enrolment approval conversion. The online banking solution will also drastically improve the user experience for patrons by allowing the option to enter their bank information manually or use online banking credentials, allowing for faster and easier enrolment. Patrons can also utilise eCheck for ACH transfer style transactions on their mobile device using their VIP preferred account.
GIO: What differentiates Global Payments from the other payment solutions companies in the online gaming space? CJ: The main differentiator is that our solutions integrate seamlessly into casinos’ existing systems and are supported across the board, including transferring funds back and forth between mobile devices, the financial institutions, and the casino floor or online sportsbook. Embracing Global Payments’ system-agnostic solutions, like VIP Preferred, allows casinos to tap the flexibility needed to offer digital alternatives to traditional forms of

GIO: Circa Sports Colorado is the first gaming institution to offer your solution. What’s next for Global Payments? How do you plan to evolve and expand your service? CJ: Global Payments Gaming Solutions is always searching for new enhancements that create additional value and improve the overall gaming experience. Because of the ever-changing needs of our patrons and casinos, online and in-person, our solutions are always evolving. Global Payments Gaming Solutions is expected to have 10 other sites live with online banking by the first of the year. We plan to expand and improve our solutions to continue to encourage a seamless and cashless gaming experience that has the most efficient way to fund play.
