This year I got to attend my fi rst-ever ICE exhibition, which was ideal for me considering it was dominated by iGaming companies, work with some amazing people in the industry and experience iGB Live! for the fi rst time. It’s an industry I never thought I’d fall into, but I’ve grown to love it. I want to say thank you to Jon Bruford, who is sadly leaving Casino International, for imparting his 17 years of knowledge and making my fi rst year working on GIO better than I expected.
As we approach the new year, this issue features ‘A Look Back’ on the highs and the lows of 2022 from a range of key industry members. Whilst on the topic, I would like to acknowledge Paul Buianov at BetCare, who you will fi nd included in the feature, for continuing his hard work despite the challenging working conditions in Kyiv.
