tailored to the exact needs of the gaming industry, have recently launched the first new family of DPX products for 5 years, the new DPX - M Series. The DPX M Series was designed in response
to the huge success of the DPX-E250 and to meet the requirements of the growing market for sport betting terminals. The DPX M Series of products are available with both Intel Coffee Lake R 8/9th gen Core-I and AMD V1000 / R1000 Embedded Ryzen chipsets. These products are very high performance, scalable embedded platforms for gaming customers who require a separate gaming I/O and/or security solution on a module. The DPX-M series motherboards feature gaming optimized features for security and serviceability without the full set of I/O and security devices found on our hugely successful 11th Generation DPX - S series and the DPX - E series products. The unique “Side-expansion” bus on the DPX - M270 is used to add tailored I/O solutions to the DPX-M Series, customers can take advantage of the comprehensive range of standard I/O modules that Advantech offer. Alternatively, Advantech can work with customers to create a proposal for a custom I/O module providing specialized I/O for a

particular application. In this way, the platform can be the most cost–effective since it is application-optimized. The side expansion bus carries a number of signals to provide the most flexibility for expansion and security. Two PCI-e x1 lanes are available together with two I2
C ports (one
password protected) and two USB 2.0. In addition various power good and power
sequencing signals to allow the modules more control plus five logged and battery backed cabinet intrusion switch inputs. Off the shelf third party standard adapters can be accommodated too for functions such as WiFi LAN, USB 3.0, CANBus etc. The DPX-M Series is also available as part of
a range of chassis solutions, M1000 and M2000.
