The biggest ever win on Crazy Time (and in Live Casino) was with a 5000x multiplier resulting in a total payout of 11 million for players! CI: Another new game for 2020 is Instant Roulette – tell us a bit about that? TH: This year, one of our focuses was on reinventing some of our casino classics, by adding unique twists to them to welcome a new generation of players to Live Casino, while at the same time honouring the games that players know and love. Instant Roulette is a completely new spin on Live Roulette
where 12 individual and synchronised Auto Roulette wheels spin almost constantly for near instant results. This really puts the player in control as they can place their bets in their own time, at whatever speed they want, by clicking the ‘PLAY NOW’ button once they are ready for the game to begin. More wheels equal more games with this game which is four times faster than our classic Roulette!
CI: What new tech in Live Casino are you currently excited about? TH: All the exciting technology we use is hidden from the player, and it is this technology that makes the video silky smooth, and the gameplay fluid, exciting, entertaining and perfect at every stage of the game. such as MONOPOLY Live it has been really exciting to see the great reaction we have received from players to building in technologies such as augmented reality. We are watching virtual reality very closely and we are
regularly employing the use of artificial reality in our games now. Players love this, so we will be sure to do more of this in the future. We will use new technology wherever it adds value to the game for the player, and wherever it helps drive our evolution and keep us at the forefront of the igaming industry.
CI: Finally, I hear you’ve been making inroads into the US market – what’s the path for that? For a company with many strengths and products, are you using a particular facet to gain a foothold in the country? Are you working with partners? TH: Recently, we have seen strong growth in the US. Over the past year we have doubled our capacity in our first US studio, in New Jersey, as well as planned our entrance into the neighbouring state of Pennsylvania. Building is well underway on our Pennsylvania studio, which will be our ninth studio globally. This also makes us the first Live Casino provider to be licensed in the state, having secured preliminary waiver status back in September 2019. Additionally, we are planning to launch a third US studio in the state of Michigan, with a planned go-live in 2021. We have lots of exciting partnerships in the US, too, with
recently announced agreements with PointsBet, Golden Nugget and BetMGM being just the latest examples of deals that will see us provide world-leading Live Casino services in the US online gambling market. Looking to the future, we will continue to utilise such opportunities to allow more end users to enjoy our games and give operators greater opportunities to leverage our products in new regulated markets.
