Casino International: What does your recent brand repositioning achieve, and how has Evolution’s offering evolved to warrant this? Todd Haushalter: The aim is to bring our brand closer to who we really are today and better reflect the diversity of the company’s operations. In addition to our world-leading online gaming offering, we also create and carry out everything in-house, including software development, technology and product innovation and state-of-the-art studio design. These are all elements through which we drive our EVOLUTION. It has always been in our nature to push the boundaries,
to constantly strive to be ten steps ahead, to always be on our toes and we are excited about the next stage of our journey.
CI: What does this mean for customers? And will end users notice any changes? TH: The new branding will appear across Evolution’s digital platforms as well as in official communications and statements. Other than that, operators and their customers will notice very little change. Players will still be able to play the games they know and
love. The core of what our brand stands for – that we are a world-leading provider of a high-quality entertainment experience – still remains. Our brand values – that we believe in teamwork, integrity, and respect and that we always strive to be better – are still at our core.
New branding rounds off a huge period in the company’s history as they become a major global player in gaming. Todd Haushalter, Chief Product Officer at Evolution, answered Casino International’s questions
CI: Can you summarise the company’s journey to this key point for our readers? TH: Since the company was founded in 2006, our vision has been to make operators successful and provide the best gaming experience for end users – this has remained the same to this day. Our brand equals world-class online gaming, and we always strive to have a clear and strong identity. At the time Evolution was formed, the accepted view
was that live gaming over the internet could not satisfy a European audience. Live Casino hadn’t really been seen before and in those days internet speeds and mobile gaming were nothing like they are today. We challenged the perception that online casinos could not be a live gaming experience and we changed it forever. Since then investment in infrastructure, people and innovation has enabled us to grow to become world leaders in the industry. We created live dealer variants of the traditional table games players know and love, ranging from Roulette to Blackjack, using the highest quality video streaming, best equipped studios, and the latest technology. Our goal was always to be as close as possible to the real casino experience. We also thrived on pushing the boundaries and challenging the perception of online gaming, to create a unique experience for players.
