BRITISH CASINO AWARDS 2019

Intelligent Gaming for Neon and Novomatic’s Dominator was hailed as the Best Slot Machine. Of course, the most important part of any industry is the passionate people that work within it on a day-to-day basis – so it was only apt that the British Casino Awards recognised the individual efforts from across the sector. The Rising Star award was presented to

Grosvenor Casino’s Hannah Hugill, the CHIPS Community Engagement Award went to Tracy Tombides of Crown London Aspinalls and the new Casino International Outstanding Contribution Award was bestowed upon Novomatic’s Phil Burke. Also presented on the night were the inclusive awards, which were open to entries from both manufacturers and operators. The CHIPS Corporate Community Engagement Award went to Aspers Stratford Westfield City while the Corporate Training Investment Award was presented to Aspers Group and the National Casino Forum Diversity and Inclusion Award was taken home by Crown London Aspinalls. The awards presentation came to a close with the coveted Lifetime Achievement Award – which recognises one individual that has demonstrated clear passion and commitment to the gaming sector over the course of their career and imparted a positive impact on the industry – which was presented to James Thomas of The Hippodrome Casino, London. Guests at the ceremony also took part in a

charity fundraiser and gave generously in aid of the Awards’ chosen charity, CHIPS. The full amount will be announced on the British Casino Awards website in due course. The 2019 British Casino Awards would not

have been possible without the backing of its sponsors: Cammegh, Everi, Passport Technology, TCSJOHNHUXLEY and Interblock; and the support of CHIPS, the European Casino Association and the National Casino Forum. To find out more about the British Casino

Awards or to view the full gallery from the evening, visit www.britishcasinoawards.co.uk.
