www.casinointernational-online.com Editor’s comment

As ever, the world of gaming is like a young child – it just cannot sit still. There’s always something happening, good or bad, somewhere in the world. On my mind at the moment is

the news about Sheldon Adelson. Of course, I wish him a speedy recovery, but it has made me wonder how such news can be kept from shareholders etc when it could have a direct impact on a company. Another such example is of course the accusations against Steve Wynn – not to mention the fines levied as a result of members of his staff apparently not doing much about said accusations. The world has changed a lot in recent years, more than at any other stage I can remember in my life. Not all of it is positive change; we see division everywhere there should be unity, hate where the arms of love should be held wide, fear cultivated by those that want to simply hold on to their own ‘power’. True power is opening those arms and abandoning fear; true power is teaching the next generation of young men that a woman is not your property; true power comes only from love, not from fear. Enjoy the issue.
