elebrating its 25th year of trading, Kudos Shower Products continues to invest and grow under its UK management team and with the backing of its parent, the RONAL Group. Over the past three years, the business has grown significantly due largely to the success of its shower tray product additions, a robust new product development program and the overall, reliable, local service that it offers its UK customers. It has invested around £3.5million over the same period and seen the opening of a second showroom and 60,000 sq ft finished goods warehouse in Sandbach, Cheshire. This investment freed space at the company’s production facility in Holme, Cumbria to expand its semi-automatic shower enclosure lines which now produce up to 3000 units a week. There has also been investment in its shower tray production facility which saw the capability triple in this area by the end of 2023.
When the business initially started in Cumbria the unit it operated from was just under 6000 sq ft in size, over the years this has expanded to 75,000 sq ft and it is currently building a 19,000 sq ft extension to its Sandbach warehouse facility to cope with the increase in production capacity. Holding plenty of stock in the business is key to providing the required service levels, so overall the business holds three months of stock, at Sandbach 8-10 weeks of finished goods stock and spare parts for its enclosures for 10 years.
Kudos offers two product collections available from a select number of distribution partners. Their ‘main’ collection features Ultimate wet room panels, complete with 10mm glass, along with the innovative and popular connect2 shower trays that have been designed to be installed avoiding floor joists. This main range also features the recently launched Divera product, a price-conscious range of shower enclosures comprising 44 SKUs but
offering 100s of shower enclosure combinations. Their Premium Collection, for displaying showrooms only, features pinnacle8, pinnacle8 level access and the recently introduced ultimate slimline trays, made from a lightweight 27mm composite material which is trimmable on site. Kudos is a brand of showering products, trading as RONAL Bathrooms UK Ltd. The Kudos brand is designed and manufactured in the UK where it has been producing shower products at its Cumbria facility since 1999.
