Cyncly appoints Anand Krishnan as Chief Executive Officer

L

ondon, UK, April 9, 2024 – Cyncly, the leading global provider of software and content solutions that help make amazing spaces for living, is pleased to announce the appointment of Anand Krishnan as Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. Anand’s appointment is the product of a diligent selection process led by the company’s Board of Directors following David Tombre’s decision to retire from his leadership role at Cyncly. Anand comes to Cyncly with a

proven track record of leading innovative, customer-focused B2B software

companies. He most recently served as CEO of IBS Software, which enables travel companies to run mission-critical operations. Prior to that, he held

executive positions at Canonical and

Microsoft, creating organizations that deliver pioneering technology matched to market needs.

“I am excited to join Cyncly and build upon the progress the company has achieved under David’s leadership,” said Anand. “Cyncly is in a unique position to help businesses in the spaces-for-living industry deliver amazing consumer experiences, more efficiently and profitably. I look forward to working with team members across the organization to leverage our leading technology and deep understanding of the industry to achieve Cyncly’s potential for our customers, employees and industry partners.” David’s decision to depart the CEO office comes after his pivotal role in the establishment and growth of Cyncly. Over the past three decades at Cyncly and Compusoft, David has built a culture that puts the needs of the customer front and center. His strong leadership has shaped Cyncly into a strategic digital partner that helps businesses improve process quality, sales productivity, manufacturing efficiency and user experience across each stage of the customer journey, from project inspiration to design, sales, manufacturing and installation.

“I am incredibly proud of the success we have created at Cyncly, built on a foundation of knowing our customers’ businesses, delivering best-in-class solutions, and committing to client success,” said David. “With Cyncly’s global team making great technology for our customers, the leadership team established and our product strategy on track, Cyncly is well prepared for its next phase of growth. After 33 years in the industry, I am grateful to transition out of the CEO role with confidence that the company’s future is bright and our customers are in good hands.” “David’s contributions to Cyncly have been invaluable, and we are grateful for his commitment to a seamless transition,” said Naveen Wadhera, Managing Director at TA and Eli Weiss, Managing Partner at Genstar, both members of Cyncly’s Board of Directors. “As Cyncly enters a new chapter, we are confident in the strength of the leadership team and are excited to welcome Anand as CEO to propel Cyncly into its next stage of growth.”

Stone Worktop Fabricators clarify consumer choice

he Worktop Fabricators Federation is offering an all-industry guide to help showroom staff and consumers select the right type of worktop for their needs. “Too often, consumers are led to believe that because an engineered or natural stone worktop is the most resilient, it must therefore be bullet-proof,” says WFF director Mark Mills. “Only to end up disappointed after children have climbed on it, hot pans have been placed on it, harsh chemicals have been used to clean it or the supporting cabinetry has shifted.

T

“Call-backs and disappointments are costly and uncomfortable for all concerned – especially when so many of them could have been avoided by better hand-holding during the selection process.” The WFF’s Guide to

Engineered and Natural Stone Surfaces steers a road between manufacturers’ detailed cutting instructions on the one hand, and customers’ unsubstantiated assumptions on the other. The result is an authoritative, readable, no-nonsense guide to the selection, care and

maintenance of worktops in quartz, granite, marble, quartzite and sintered stone materials.

To encourage kitchen showrooms to join in with educating their customers, the WFF has produced neat A6- size point of sale vanes.

Designed to stand discreetly on in-store displays, the mini-posters carry a QR code which enables customers to download the detailed guide directly from the WFF’s website.
