Thanks to this dual functionality, it is ideal for printers where space for both dedicated flatbed and roll-fed options may be an issue. The device can run rigid materials up to 50.8mm thick and roll media as wide as 1,620mm, though the design of the machine means it has a compact footprint, making it suitable for spaces where traditional flatbed systems may not fit. Add in a belt-driven transport system, combined with UV-LED curing, and this ensures stable media handling across a variety of substrates, including more sensitive materials. Furthermore, the Mimaki UJ330H-160 comes with new, improved UV ink with 30% less odour – which is both SVHC-free (Substances of Very High Concern) and CMR-free (Carcinogenic, Mutagenic or Reprotoxic) – showcasing the continuation to improve the safety and quality of ink supply.
