Universal Graphics upgrades capabilities with HP Latex FS60W

U

niversal Graphics has said its recent upgrade to a new HP Latex FS60W printer will

allow it to speed up production, improve the quality of output and strengthen its environmentally friendly print services. The company’s diverse print service

offering is supported by Universal Graphics’ line-up of HP Latex technology and its keenness to take on a fourth Latex machine. The HP Latex FS60W runs at speeds of up to 121m sq/hr in two-pass mode, along with offering a maximum print width of 3.2m and can produce output at 1200x1200dpi. Running in nine colours, including white ink, the printer is an effective solution for work such as vehicle graphics, exhibition and event graphics, wallpaper, banners, indoor signage, decoration and other displays.

Aisling Savage, sales support and marketing for Universal Graphics, said: “As the machine enables us to print full 3m rolls for a seamless look, eliminating the need for joins or panels, this will be great for interior applications. It will enable us to expand more into this area

of the market. “It’s faster, higher quality, and uses

environmentally friendly, non-solvent inks, allowing us to offer an even broader range of premium branding solutions. It’s an excellent upgrade to what we already have in place.”

ale Studios has strengthened its production capabilities with its investment into an Anapurna

Ciervo H3200 from Agfa. The Ciervo H3200 is the third Agfa engine to join Dale Studios’ lineup, joining an Anapurna H3200i and an Anapurna H2500i,

to help increase production capacity without outgrowing its existing premises. Ben Millard, managing director at Dale

Studios, said: “With the new Ciervo H3200 we’re already seeing significant benefits in terms of throughput and capacity, which has really helped future-proof us as we

said: “Working with Dale Studios over multiple Anapurna generations means we understand exactly where they want to go as a business. “With the Ciervo H3200 in place alongside their Anapurna H2500i, they now have a powerful hybrid pair that can adapt with demand and maintain the consistent quality their clients rely on.” Mr Millard added: “The capacity we have with the two Agfa machines is what we need. “This new machine has more print heads, more speed, and the technology is a step up from what we had before.”
