Focus on Inkjet Printers China Print Supplies

Extending its portfolio with its latest range of UV flatbed printers

Over the past twelve months, China Print Supplies (CPS) has significantly expanded its hardware offering by adding the Dlican range of UV flatbed printers alongside its established SinoColor and ThunderJet lines. For sign businesses looking at flatbed production, two models in particular stand out. The Dlican DLI-1216 is a mid-format flatbed with a 1.2x1.6m print area, built on an all-steel frame with magnetic linear motors and industrial Ricoh Gen 6 heads. Resolution reaches 1800dpi with a minimum dot size of 5pl, and the platform scales from a two-head configuration up to eight, so businesses can start modest and upgrade as demand grows. For higher volume work, the DLI-4025 offers a 4x2.5m bed, large enough to print three 8x4 boards in a single pass. Both models include an ioniser, high-power vacuum system and pneumatic alignment pins, with optional extras including an AI Visual Positioning Camera and height upgrades to 200mm or 300mm for thicker substrates. CPS has also introduced the Kartech range of cutting

Mimaki UJ330H-160

Mimaki has expanded its UV portfolio with the launch of the UJ330H-160, a hybrid UV printer designed to enable seamless production across both rigid and roll media. For sign makers, that flexibility supports faster turnaround, reduced handling and the ability to manage a wider range of applications from a single platform. Engineered for sign and graphics production, the 1.6m wide UJ330H-160 delivers consistent, high-quality output across substrates including boards, films and flexible materials. From retail display and exhibition graphics to short run signage, thanks to the proven 330 print engine it maintains strong colour

focused workflow. Utilising foldable tables, media changes are straightforward, helping to minimise downtime and maintain throughput across a variety of job types. Mimaki’s established UV ink technology, including white and clear inks, further extends application capability, enabling multi-layered graphics, creative finishes and enhanced visual effects. As production demands shift towards shorter runs and greater customisation, hybrid systems are becoming an increasingly viable alternative to separate rigid and roll-to-roll devices. The UJ330H-160 reflects this transition, offering a consolidated approach without compromising output quality or application range. The introduction of the new Mimaki UJ330H-160 provides sign

makers with a considered option for future proofing production, combining versatility with the consistency and reliability expected from a dedicated UV platform.
