Spandex showcases AUTO Drift in partnership with British racer
pandex has partnered with British racing driver Nathan Edwards for the 2026 season. Competing in the Mini Challenge JCW Championship, Mr Edwards will take to the track in a striking new livery produced using AUTO Drift – the digital print wrap developed through a collaboration between Spandex and ORAFOL. With races broadcast live on
ITV4, the championship provides a high-profile platform within the UK. The partnership offers Spandex the opportunity to showcase AUTO Drift across seven race weekends nationwide,
in front of an average event attendance of over 30,000 spectators, alongside a highly engaged automotive audience. Mr Edwards’ race car has been
expertly wrapped by Vinyl Detail using AUTO Drift digital print wrap film, which features ProSlide technology allowing for easier application. Luke Odell, automotive development manager at Spandex UK, said: “AUTO Drift was created to support installers when precision, efficiency and finish really matter. “Partnering with Nathan Edwards
Racing allows us to demonstrate AUTO Drift in an environment where

Drift digital print wrap is a serious piece of technology. It’s also given our installers the confidence to reposition and accurately align graphics, enabling a more complex livery that brings our 2026 design to life and delivers real visibility for our partners on track and across live TV coverage.”

Michael Jones, leader of Crawley Borough Council, said: “These new hoardings bring that story to life by celebrating our heritage, showcasing the landmarks, and giving residents a clear

Ahead of the install, the company worked with council officers to conduct risk assessments and produce safety and logistical protocols.
Andrew Ballington-James, founder and managing director of Just AJD, added: “This has been a rewarding print and installation project working very closely with Crawley Borough Council over a number of years, as part of its plan to transform a vital part of the town centre.”
