PHAM NEWS | SEPTEMBER 2024 News Review 9 Oxford United
sponsorship Baxi has announced a sponsorship deal with EFL Championship newcomers Oxford United, which will see the company become the club’s principal partner from the start of the 2024/25 season. As part of the new deal, the
manufacturer’s branding will feature across the front of Oxford’s men’s and women’s first team kits. The company will also be working with Oxford to deliver marketing campaigns across social and digital platforms to engage with the club’s fan base, including those featuring the club’s and Baxi’s mascots, Ox and Baxter.
Baxi’s support for low carbon
heating solutions is also echoed by Oxford United’s plans to deliver the UK’s first all-electric stadium.
Social housing partnership
In a joint offering to social housing providers and new build developers, Daikin and Mixergy are working together to combine a Daikin Altherma heat pump with a Mixergy smart hot-water cylinder. The two manufacturers say that the collaboration will help to boost EPC scores while enhancing living standards for tenants. The Mixergy cylinders have been designed to optimise the performance of the heat pump and deliver a significant reduction in hot water energy consumption (see also page 33). ◼
