Chance to cash in with new loyalty programme


Hansgrohe’s dedicated website for professional installers – the points-based programme is easy to access via the Talisman Loyalty Programme app. Available via the Apple Store for iOS and Google Play for Android, installers can benefi t every time they specify and fit a Hansgrohe or AXOR solution. Those that have previously registered their details on the Hansgrohe PRO website can download the app and start logging points straightaway. Each product scanned equals


a set number of points which are allocated to the individual installer on their account. The app will display points totals as they build


A new customer loyalty scheme has been launched by Hansgrohe which will enable installers to gain points for purchasing products which can then be transferred into cash benefits. The Talisman Loyalty Programme offi cially opened at the beginning of August and installers were able to take advantage of an opportunity to earn triple loyalty points on the fi rst item that they scanned during the month as an additional reward for signing-up. and once the installer has reached 50 points it converts to a cash value which they are able to claim. Julie McLean, marketing

BESA conference in October


The Brewery in London has been chosen to stage the Building Engineering Services Association (BESA) Annual Conference, to be held on 17 October. Sponsored by Mitsubishi Electric, this year’s event aims to inspire a safer, sustainable and effi cient building engineering services industry. High expectations for UFH


Underfloor heating experts Gaia are expecting to install even more underfloor heating in new build developments following the new Chancellor’s plans to ‘get Britain building again’ by building 1.5 million homes in England over the next fi ve years. With underfl oor heating already gaining ground in new builds, Gaia says these changes will inevitably create more opportunities for deployment. “With 1.5 million new build homes on the way, we’re predicting that even


more developers will choose to install underfl oor heating as the energy effi cient heating system for their projects – particularly as these homes will be built in adherence with recently changed Part L regulations and the upcoming Future Homes Standard,” says Steven Rooney, director of Gaia Underfl oor Heating. It is anticipated that next year’s implementation of the Future Homes


Standard, which states carbon emissions should be reduced to 75-80% than previously, will give the underfl oor heating market a further boost.

Designer radiator specialist BestHeating has opened a new, larger warehouse in Lancashire to accommodate its expanding product range and meet growing demand. The new facility, located at Lomeshaye Industrial Estate, boasts 95,000ft2


of fl oor space and


features a high-bay pallet racking system and mezzanine floor to maximise storage capacity. The move will significantly increase the number of heating- product pick faces, helping warehouse staff access products more easily. In addition, the new warehouse adds a significant increase in storage capacity, which will support expansion
