Sector Guide Kramer releases new range of USB-C cables

KRAMER has launched a new range of labelled USB-C Cables to streamline Pro AV system installation and maintenance for integrators and end-users. The introduction of new 3.2 Gen 2 USB-C cables feature icons that indicate their ability to support video, data, and charging, eliminating the guesswork for integrators and end users.

The new C-U32/MFF USB 3.2 Gen 2 SuperSpeed+ passive cables provide bidirectional plug-and-play connectivity for the delivery of 4K@60 4:4:4 video and fast data transfer between PC, Mac, and mobile-compatible devices, including monitors, web cameras, printers, scanners, keyboards, and other devices. The new range, featuring Kramer’s K-Lock connectivity,

offers transfer rates of up to 10 Gbps (between USB 3.2 hosts and devices) and rapid 100W power (5A, 20V) charging that maintains powered devices. Kramer’s K-lock connectors offer up to 5 pounds of pull resistance against accidental

disconnections. The cables are made of micro coaxial wires with triple shielding to help prevent electromagnetic interference and ensure reliable data communications. The cable construction provides greater flexibility for easy manipulation, giving a significant advantage for the user experience. The Kramer cables feature USB backward compatibility (1.0, 1.1, 2.0, and 3.0), are RoHS REACH compliant, and are available in 6, 10, and 15 feet, or 1.8, 3, and 4.6 metres, respectively.

Additionally, these displays are equipped with AMD FreeSync Premium Pro technology to ensure smooth viewing experiences without stuttering when playing HDR games, watching movies, or enjoying other content. The Predator X32 X2 boasts a 31.5-inch UHD (3840×2160) QD-OLED panel with a 16:9 aspect ratio and 240 Hz refresh rate. This model is aimed at gamers seeking cinematic and immersive viewing when gaming, with wide-screen real estate to highlight image clarity and detail. On the other hand, the Predator X27U X1 features a 26.5-inch WQHD (2560×1440) panel, offering a more space-saving design while maintaining high visual performance. The monitor supports up to a 240 Hz refresh rate and can switch to 60 Hz via DisplayPort with the Dynamic Refresh Rate feature, producing well-rendered and smooth visuals for both gameplay and casual viewing.
