Sector Guide Kingston introduces M.2 2230 form factor for NV3 PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD


KINGSTON DIGITAL EUROPE has expanded its NV3 SSD product line with a new M.2 2230 form factor (22×30mm), designed for laptops and handheld gaming devices that require compact, low-power NVMe storage. The single-sided design supports capacities up to 2TB. Powered by a Gen 4×4 NVMe


controller, the NV3 2230 model offers read speeds of up to 6,000 MB/s and write speeds of up to 5,000 MB/s. It is


compatible with systems that support PCIe 4.0 and is designed for general-purpose workloads that require fast access and improved responsiveness.


The drive is available in 500GB, 1TB, and 2TB capacities. Kingston includes Acronis True Image software (1-year license) and the Kingston SSD Manager application, which provides drive monitoring, firmware updates, and secure data erasure.

Brother UK refreshes A4 Mini inkjet range


BROTHER UK has updated its A4 Mini Business and A4 Mini Regular inkjet printer series, replacing several legacy models and expanding the feature sets to address the requirements of both home and small office environments.


The MFC-J4350DW and MFC-J4550DW succeed the outgoing MFC-J4340DW and MFC-J4540DW. Both support 20ipm print speeds, automatic two-sided printing, and 5GHz wireless connectivity. Included in-box ink yields approximately 350 pages (black and colour combined). • MFC-J4350DW: 4.5cm LCD, 150-sheet front-loading tray, 20-sheet ADF, 150-sheet output • MFC-J4550DW: 6.8cm LCD, dual paper trays (400-sheet capacity), wired LAN and USB support.


The revised A4 Mini Regular line consists of four models: DCP- J1260W, DCP-J1310DW, DCP-J1360DW, and DCP-J1460DW. Each feature 16ipm print speeds, flatbed scan/copy functionality, a 150-sheet input tray, a 50-sheet output tray, USB connectivity, and upgraded 5GHz wireless support. All models include 200- page in-box inks with optional 500-page replacement supplies. • DCP-J1260W: LED display, no two-sided print • DCP-J1310DW: 4.5cm LCD with hard keys, adds duplex print • DCP-J1360DW: Adds 20-sheet ADF to DCP-J1310DW spec • DCP-J1460DW: 6.8cm LCD for improved usability. The new series replaces DCP-J1200W, DCP-J1050DW, DCP- J1140DW, and MFC-J1010DW. Packaging has been updated to recyclable, non-polystyrene cardboard to support environmental compliance.

Brother UK launches ink tank printers for small and home businesses


BROTHER UK has introduced two compact, refillable inkjet tank printers, the DCP-T580DW and the DCP-T780DW, designed for small businesses and home offices looking to reduce running costs and streamline colour printing. The models support wireless connectivity, duplex printing, and a 150-sheet front-loading paper input. Packaging for both devices uses recyclable, non-polystyrene cardboard, in line with workplace recycling legislation. • DCP-T780DW: In-box ink yields up to 15,000 black and 5,000 colour pages; delivers 15.5ipm colour print speed, 6.2s first-page-out, 17ipm scanning, 20-sheet ADF, and 4.5cm LCD touchscreen • DCP-T580DW: Supports 16ipm mono and 9ipm colour printing, with in-box ink rated at 7,500 pages (black) and 5,000 pages (colour); suited to low-volume UK home office use


Both models integrate with the Brother Mobile Connect app for direct setup, print management, and supply tracking. This launch forms part of a broader UK-focused inkjet portfolio refresh over the next 18 months.
