ccording to research by Chainalysis, ransomware gangs received approximately $813.55 million in


payments from victims during 2024. And despite arrests and law enforcement successes against high-profile groups like LockBit and ALPHV/BlackCat, the number of groups involved in ransomware continues to grow. Based on our research, the number of unique ransomware groups increased to 77, up from 41 in the previous year. Small and mid-market organisations were


most affected by ransomware attacks. Tis group of companies is most likely to require assistance with security and is also most likely
