amily-owned Coopers Stores was established in 1949. The business now operates from a two- floor 2,000sq ft showroom in the centre of Bath and specialises in home appliances.
This year the
retailer refurbished the first floor with specialist displays for Fisher & Paykel and Liebherr and added to its Rangemaster product area on the ground floor. Coopers Stores continues to make full use of its large shop windows and street frontage; it’s built a strong local reputation for its window displays, which attract attention on social media. The retailer is always strengthening its one-stop-shop solution approach with
free old appliance removal and disposal and a full installation
service through its team of highly qualified professionals.
“Our continued success owes a huge amount to our dedicated and committed team,” said Paul Cooper, Owner of Coopers Stores. “We continue to invest in staff development and training so everyone in the team keeps up with detailed product knowledge and emerging trends. This means regular in-house training sessions with key suppliers and our sales team attends supplier training events, trade shows and product launches – recently these include Miele, Fisher & Paykel, Rangemaster and BSH.” He continued: “We’ve won or been
runner-up a few times now at the ERT Awards, but it’s still so exciting to hear our name called out as the
winner. We’re displaying the trophy in-store and already promoting the win across all channels; we are so proud, and it’s important for the staff to be recognised too. “High street retailing is tough these days and it’s great to have industry recognition that we are doing well! “We offer a genuine alternative to
