proud moment for the entire business. “Bringing the CX range cooker family to market required a real team effort, from design and production through to marketing and retail support,” he said. “Receiving this award is a wonderful acknowledgement of everyone involved and underlines the trust the industry continues to place in Smeg.” The CX Range Cooker family stood out for its careful balance of style, performance and accessibility. Mr Davies explained that the product reflects Smeg’s signature retro aesthetic while delivering everyday practicality. Intuitive controls, solid energy efficiency credentials, multiple size options, and the choice of induction or gas hobs make the range versatile, while its design allows it to sit comfortably in both modern and traditional kitchens. Crucially, it was developed with genuine consumer benefit in mind. Consumer insight played a central role in shaping the product. The brand closely monitors lifestyle trends and feedback, blending these insights with its long-standing design heritage. The result is a product that meets contemporary needs without compromising the brand’s commitment to craftsmanship and quality. Reflecting on the awards evening itself, Mr Davies highlighted the atmosphere and sense of shared celebration. “The energy in the room was brilliant, and being recognised among such strong competition made it particularly special,” he said.
