Founded in 1904, the retailer has kept the customer at the heart of everything they do and this is equally true for its online presence. This is why the judges appointed Lawsons as the runner up for the Best Online Independent of the Year award.

One of the judges were impressed by Sam Belcher’s “adaptability in his skills from his time in the warehouse and now working on the shop floor. He has shown initiative in his ability to up skill his product knowledge and sales skills to ensure customers leave the store with the most suitable products for their needs.” Since starting at Harts of Stur in 2020, Belcher has gone from strength to strength.
