Abbie Bleasby-Voice Dexam
Abbie Bleasby-Voice is the marketing manager for Dexam International, a leading housewares brand that has been trading for 65 years. She is responsible for shaping the strategic direction of the brand and leads all B2B and B2C marketing activity. With a wealth of experience in marketing and retail, Bleasby-Voice has worked for various visitor attractions, including the Science Museum, promoting their stores and supporting on visual merchandising/displays. More recently as brand manager for Nespresso, she was responsible for product launches and driving the awareness and positioning of Nespresso in UK stores including John Lewis, Debenhams, and Curry’s.
Emma Sutton RKW
Tom Basford Grunwerg
A well-known figure in the housewares industry, Basford started his sales career working for Dixons many years ago and then moved to field sales with Brabantia. Two years later, he joined Grunwerg. Using his wealth of experience, Basford joined the judging panel as a key industry member.
Emma Sutton has always had a passion for RKW since a young age after her parents founded the business in 1989. Throughout her career, she has worked in various departments and gained valuable experience across a wide range of business functions. After graduating with a first-class honours degree in Business and Management at Aston Business School, Sutton then went on to work in trade sales and marketing for Merlin Entertainments in Sydney and the UK. Sutton joined the family business full- time in 2020 and now leads the company’s trade marketing activity with responsibilities for both digital and traditional B2B marketing communications. A true asset to the judging panel, she has a strong passion in driving the continued digitalisation of RKW’s B2B marketing objectives and strategies.

Mohamed Hajat Burton McCall
As head of sales for Burton McCall my role involves managing a sales team who in turn service the home, garden, DIY, HORECA, outdoor & sports channels and also look after a few strategic customers to keep me busy! In July I will be celebrating 10 years with Burton McCall and I can proudly say I am still enjoying the role and amazing brands we represent and of course working with our very supportive customer base.

Le Creuset is a pioneer in colour development and the leader in highly- durable, chip-resistant enamelled cast iron. A culinary classic, the Le Creuset casserole has been loved by cooks across the world for nearly a century. A valued member of the Le Creuset team, George Mann has been included in the judging panel for the Housewares Awards.

Home Hardware’s Rachel Taylor has joined the roster of housewares experts. “I am head of buying for Home Hardware Southwest and manage the SDA, cleaning, fireside and bathroom categories. I have been with Home Hardware for 11 years. As well as focusing on the needs of our distribution business we also produce six brochures and four consumer catalogues for our 450 retail members,” says Taylor.
Stephen Fennell International Cookware Limited
Stephen Fennell has worked within the housewares industry for over 26 years for well-known and much respected brands such as Fissler, T G Woodware, Le Creuset, Kenwood Delonghi and currently as a key account manager with International Cookware Limited. In his current role, Fennell manages a variety of accounts, from Wholesalers and small & large independent retailers to Food Service customers. Over the years, he has built up a wealth of knowledge within housewares, an industry which he cares so much about.
