Lesser & Pavey Celebrate 50 Years A

s Lesser & Pavey celebrates its 50th anniversary this year it looks forward to the future with new enthusiasm,

& Pavey in the 70’s has invested heavily in design and quality craftsman to ensure the marketplace has products of quality and originality in the form of 3D art studies. In what has been a difficult year for everyone, Lesser & Pavey have traded well throughout the Covid pandemic period facing the UK and indeed the rest of the world. We have remained open and in contact with customers during this whole time and we believe our success since March last year is largely due to this. We had a strong range of products to offer, and we have been adding new designs all the time and we still are. We have seen many of our customers become more innovative during this time, expanding their business options to include an online venture. We have also opened many accounts for new online retailers – both small and large businesses looking for new suppliers and we hope we have the opportunity to meet them at Autumn Fair. We are also constantly developing new products often using our inhouse design team expertise. All of this has contributed to our success during the pandemic period. There has also most certainly been an uplift in trade since non- essential shops re-opened in April. Over the past 15 months the consumer has been spending far more time at home and as a result have undertaken more home improvements which has helped sales of Home Décor with attractive aroma lamps, home fragrance with our extensive ranges of candles and diffusers, tableware and kitchenware and associated products as well as statement pieces. Our quality aroma lamps bring fragrance and light into any living space in the home and form part of our Desire range which is all about wellbeing with these white and multi-coloured lamps that are touch sensitive, projecting light that can be used with wax melts and aroma oils.

They create an atmosphere in a decorative addition which forms a range of over 100 items.

Each one comes individually gift boxed. Some have a remote control and can play music by Bluetooth. The fragrance oil and wax melts to use in conjunction with the lamps are also available. In tableware our new launches include a William Morris Golden Lily range and the new Poppyfield range. William Morris is renowned worldwide as

a legendary British textile designer, poet and novelist, associated with the British Arts and Crafts Movement, and a major contributor to the revival of traditional British textile art. Our tabletop ranges with bold floral dominates the mix of colours that form the original William Morris design now captured on tableware which includes tea for one, butter dish, fine mugs, fine ceramics, melamine trays, lunch box and true environmentally friendly bamboo items and social stationery items. Lynsey Johnstone hand painted glassware has sold really well, so we have added new designs and Stemless Glasses to the range - we still have plenty more in the pipeline as this stylish hand painted glassware features nature - dragonflies, flowers, bumblebees, ladybirds and much more of rewilding. Our Statement pieces include Grey Velveteen Animal Figures as well as our Hearts and Body Vases – both of which are very much “on trend” in home styling today. Despite the uncertainty in the build up to Christmas, we have seen our Christmas ranges selling really well. The aroma lamps for Christmas are creating particular interest being so original in the

fragrance and light projected as are the Skull Aroma Lamps which come in two different forms – one is made with a ceramic base to the lamp available in white and silver. The other is made from glass with 3D design available in silver and gothic black. Following on from this we will have more of the same for this Autumn / Winter delivery as well as exciting new designs. We are confident that Wax Melts and associated products such as Oil Warmers and Aroma Lamps will go from strength to strength with their ever-increasing popularity. We will have lots of these and other products on show at the autumn fair. Lesser & Pavey exhibit at all major trade
