Lyons Instant Coffffee: ‘We ThinkWhen Operators Try Going Back…’
ry It, There’ll Be No Lyon’s Instant Coff Ly ffee is ‘the new kid on the block’. It has credibility in abundance and if there’s
one word that sums up what vending operators look for when they’re considering buying a new brand, it’s ‘credibility’.
Lyons is one of Britain’s best-known names and it’s the consumers’ familiarity with the brand that is behind the rapid growth in sales of Lyons Instant Coffffee. From a standing start in ’13, annual sales now top £3m.
The man tasked with building a business for the brand in vending is Andy Grelak. ‘We really feel that the time is right to introduce a quality instant coffffee brand that’s very competitively priced’, Andy said. ‘So, we’re now getting the word around to vending operators that there’s a new kid on the block that’s amenable to working with them, is less expensive than other brands but works just as well.’
‘Our strategy is simple’ Andy continued. ‘We believe we have a great product,made from top quality coffffees including Colombian Arabica, at a
instant coffffee a go, we’re confident that they’ll very reasonable price. If operators give Lyons
conclude that there’s no going back.’

Whisky vendingmachine tours UK A vending machine that serves up free cocktails will be touring the UK this month.
The whisky brand TheWoodsman has built the machine, which has been designed to pour Old Fashioned cocktails free of charge.
Customers will be able to create their cocktail by pulling on a series of levers and wheels.
TheWoodsman, which was launched last year, is matured in freshly-built oak casks from Ohio and ex-bourbon barrels double-scorched in Scotland. It’s this that gives it flavours of vanilla and spice as well as woodsmoke.
