Fra nchise Marketing Awards 2019
Stand out from your competitors T
ime is running out for franchisors to enter the Franchise Marketing Awards (FMA), with the deadline of
Friday 5 July 2019 fast approaching. Now in its 14th year, the highly
coveted awards recognise outstanding achievements in the following categories: Best Website Best Print Advert Best PR Campaign Best Online Marketing Campaign Best Franchisee Marketing Support Best Overall Marketing Campaign
The awards acknowledge and
celebrate innovative and effective marketing campaigns and tools provided to franchisees. They evaluate the design, execution and results of marketing programmes from numerous franchise brands and pick out the best in the business. With more and more prospective
franchisees prioritising marketing success, brand strength and dedicated support
systems when choosing a franchise to invest in, brands need to stand out from their competitors. In this highly competitive market,
entering the FMAs gives franchisors the chance to be formally recognised for their achievements. It gives their brand an edge over a rival investment opportunity and boosts their chances of recruitment success. Helen McCulloch, portfolio manager at
Venture Marketing Group, organiser of the FMAs, summarises the awards' signifi cance: “These awards highlight one of the fundamental advantages of franchising – the ongoing support of the franchisor. “They demonstrate to potential investors
a brand’s dedication to supporting their franchise networks through well-designed and effective marketing programmes.” Previous winners include Snap-on Tools,
easyGym, The Creation Station, McDonald’s, ChipsAway and many more. Expense Reduction Analysts (ERA)
won Best Overall Marketing Campaign in 2018. An ERA spokesperson commented
on the benefi ts of entering the FMAs: “We’re thrilled to win this award. We're fully committed to our strategy of resonating with our audience by demonstrating what makes ERA so special: the experts that we have in our network. “The award confi rmed to prospective
franchisees that when it comes to delivering high-quality, usable marketing collateral that delivers clients, we’re leading the way in the franchise industry.” The FMAs, sponsored by Business
Franchise magazine, are open to all franchisors that operate an ethical franchise and can demonstrate marketing excellence. Judged by a panel of industry experts,
they will look for entries that display innovative practices and effective marketing support offered by franchisors to their franchisees. The award ceremony will be held at The National Franchise Exhibition on Friday 4 October at the NEC, Birmingham, and full coverage will appear in the November issue of Business Franchise magazine.
