Every day many seriously ill children are treated at specialist hospitals far away from home. That’s why Ronald McDonald House Charities provides free accommodation for their families close to the children’s ward, ensuring everyone can be together when they need it most.
There are 14 Ronald McDonald Houses in the UK, which look after as many as 7,000 families each year.
For more than 25 years McDonald’s franchisees, staff and suppliers have played a significant role in supporting the Charity by volunteering, raising money and building awareness among customers. Their support has allowed us to look after more families where the need is greatest by building more ‘home away from home’ accommodation.
Together, we have given children in hospital something priceless; the comfort of knowing Mum and Dad are close at hand in a Ronald McDonald House.
