EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW

In the dynamic realm of electronic music, where technology and creativity fuse to create groundbreaking sounds, we sit down with an artist whose work transcends the spectrum of audible artistry. Their hands sculpt the vibrant tapestries of sound that color the night, and their thoughts echo the depth of a genre that

continuously redefines the edge of

possibility. Join us as we explore the mind and the music of a creator who orchestrates the pulse of the electronic beat with a maestro’s touch.

What initially inspired you to get involved in the world of electronic music?

“My initial inspiration to get into the world of electronic music came from my early years when I started hanging out at local clubs, and it just so happened that there was one within walking distance from my home. The club, its vibrant crowd, the electrifying sounds, and the overall ambiance were nothing short of awe-inspiring. It was there that I had my first encounter

with this world, witnessing

performances by artists like Mathew Jonson, Steve Bug, Audion, Alex Smoke, 3 Channels, Magda & many more. These experiences left an indelible mark on me and led to the realization that this was the path that I wanted to follow in my life.”

Time was significant. How solo career?

“My experience as the frontman of Agents Of Time was a transformative period that had a significant impact on my solo career. It taught me the value of collaboration, honed my

stage presence and audience

interaction skills, and provided me with the knowledge to overcome some of the difficulties that can come along the way as an artist. All these factors have contributed to my growth as a solo artist, and I continue to draw on these experiences as I chart my own musical path.”

With the launch of your label Obscura, what aspirations do you have for its future?

“With the launch of Obscura, my aspirations for its future are multifaceted. My main goal is to make Obscura a place where artists, whether

they’re established or newcomers,

can freely express themselves and showcase their unique talents. It’s a space where creativity knows no bounds, allowing artists to explore new horizons in their

craft.

Obscura isn’t just about releasing music; it’s a symbol of my belief that passion and hard work can overcome the challenges of the music industry. I’m all in for taking the less-travelled path because I believe it’s the way to create

something lasting and meaningful. Genuine creativity and artistry can thrive outside the usual rules.”

You have many Obscura showcases

on the horizon, including cities like Paris, Los Angeles, and London. What can attendees expect from these events?

“Our events promise exceptional music throu- ghout the night and great vibes. We prioritize authenticity and emphasize the importance of preserving the core values of club culture. We aim to educate the younger generation that this culture is not just about appea- rances but is primarily based on substance.”

With such a dynamic schedule, hosting your own monthly night in Bari and Milan, what unique experiences are you aiming to create at these events?

“Our monthly events in Bari and Milan are all about creating special experiences that empower our community. When I say com- munity, I mean not just the people in the audience but also the artists and industry professionals who participate. Our main goals are promoting great music and our vision and to connect people from all over the world, so we can collaborate and feel like we belong to something bigger. Plus, we’re committed to helping emerging artists get their work out there, gain confidence, and build experience. That’s how we’re making the creative scene in Bari and Milan more vibrant and dynamic.”

Having support from industry heavyweights like Maceo Plex and Tiga is quite the endorsement. Can you share how this has influenced your

music journey?

“Having industry heavyweights like Maceo Plex and Tiga by my side has been a game-changer to my solo journey. Maceo Plex, in particular, has been a great source of inspiration and a close friend who’s always believed in my talent. Collaborating with him and discussing music has been both inspiring and thought-provoking. As for Tiga, his belief in me as a producer was there from the beginning. Releasing my first solo EP on his label, TURBO, was a full-cir- cle moment for me. You see, the first record I ever bought was ‘Pleasure From The Bass’ from Tiga back in 2005. It was a significant moment when I chose TURBO for my first release.”

“And when I picked DJ Hell to remix my track, it was a nod to history. DJ Hell was the one who released Tiga’s first record on his Gigolo Records and never

it was like connecting my journey to that historical link.

released on Turbo. So, These endorsements and

collaborations have shaped my music journey in profound ways, and I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunities they’ve brought my way.”
