The best stories in the musical underground always feature that element of surprise, which often repeats itself. Our story begins when three friends, eager to have their city resonate with the music they loved to DJ, produce, and dance to, come together. All of them were well-known DJs in Madrid’s clubbing scene for many years and had been toying with the idea of starting something together—a new project to shake things up and create a musical scene.

was a risky bet, but the surprise came soon. JAZZY CLUB: THE AUTHENTIC EXPERIENCE.


Every year, many parties and new proposals flood the capital. Few survive. Even fewer make a qualitative and quantitative leap. But Jazzy was almost immediately a big hit. The surprise was the warm reception from the Madrid scene, where techno clubs dominate, and it’s tough to carve out a niche with different musical styles. What makes Jazzy Club genuinely success- ful is the unprecedented success the project has achieved in Madrid (and beyond) in just a year and a half. From more modest beginnings in smaller underground clubs like Cadavra, the Jazzy guys have moved on to organizing events for over 1000 people at The Bassement. This is not an everyday occurrence in Madrid.

“We’re proud of the progress we’ve made in such a short time,” say an excited Alvaro Medina, Maryo, Diego Aldea, and Jordi Castell, the complete Jazzy team.


“The truth is, it was a big step, and we’re very happy. We moved to programming in Madrid in a club that quadruples what we were doing, like The Bassement. That gave us the opportunity to create magical events, like the one with Raresh and tINI, which changed everything. That party made a difference; we were able to debut there with a spectacular
