NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Lancashire County Council have made an Order under Section 14{1){a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which wilfbe to temporarily prohibit any motor vehicle or cycle from proceeding over that length of Neps Lane, Paythorne, from its junction with A682 Settle Road, for a distance of 300 metres in a north-westerly direction, in the Borouqh of Ribble Valley.


An alternative route for vehicular traffic and cyclists affected by the closure is via: -


Settle Road - Hellifield Road - Settle Lane - Kiln Lane and vice versa.


Pedestrian access to properties will be maintained at all times.


The Police, Fire and Ambulance Services have been informed.


The temporary prohibition is necessary to allow


Lancashire County Council to carry out drainage inves­ tigation works.


The prohibition will be operative from 09.00 hours until 15.30‘ hours on Monday 26th November, Tuesday 27th November, Monday 3ra December and Tuesday 4th December 2007 or until completion of the works within these periods.
