What’s it like? The new Fairmont Tokyo spans the nine highest floors of Tokyo’s Blue Front Shibaura Tower South, a gleaming stack of restaurants, shops and offices with views of glittering Tokyo Bay to the east and beacon- like Tokyo Tower to the west. I entered through the side doors


– the easiest entrance when arriving from JR Hamamatsucho station – and was immediately welcomed and whisked to the 35th-floor lobby. There, floor-to-ceiling windows showcased some of the finest views in Tokyo
