TAIWAN’S MICE OFFERING EXTENDS WELL BEYOND THE ISLAND’S CAPITAL

pening the 20th asian MICE Forum (AMF) in September, Simon Wang, president and CEO of the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), was bullish about


the industry’s prospects. At the event, organised by TAITRA and Meet Taiwan, the country’s chief MICE promotion agency, Wang reported how the national industry’s output has reached US$1.63 billion, and spoke of his organisation’s role in “cultivating platforms, connecting industries and introducing sustainable and digital practices so that the MICE industry can thrive for decades to come”.
