Bangladesh-based NGO BRAC received the 2018 OFID Award for Development.

OFID engages in a variety of activities beyond the scope of its core operations. Some of these initiatives promote human-capacity building, while others acknowledge the contributions to development of outstanding individuals. OFID also participates in a number of local projects in its host community in Vienna, Austria.
