FAIR HOUSING
The City of Avondale is committed to affirmatively furthering fair housing and ensuring that all persons are given equal access to housing and housing services. All persons have the right to pursue the housing of their choice. If you would like to learn more about the Fair Housing Act or if you feel you have been discriminated against, please contact the Fair Housing Liaison. For more information regarding upcoming workshops or for referral information call the Neighborhood and Family Services Department at (623) 333-2706.
COMMUNITY ACTION PROGRAM
This program offers rental and utility assistance to households in the Avondale, Goodyear, and Litchfield Park areas that are experiencing a hardship.

NEED HOME REPAIRS?
The City offers a program to assist eligible homeowners with home repairs. Eligible activities include but are not limited to roof repair, water heater replacement, cooler replacement, plumbing leaks, electrical wiring problems, and accessibility conversions (door widening, grab bars, ramps). This program is for low to moderate income households. Please contact program staff at (623) 333-2706.
