The City's goal is to make homelessness rare, brief, and non-recurring by providing leadership, coordination, plan- ning, and mobilization of a robust array of human services.

Please use the AviWise app found at www.AvondaleAZ. gov/AviWise or the city website to report homelessness activity. This can include everything from a grouping of people in tents to a single individual with a tarp or mat. Please select Homelessness Services as the type of issue.
One-off giving at busy intersections or other public spaces can delay or divert a person from seeking help. Healthy giving supports a person’s long-term needs and promotes working hand-in-hand with experienced nonprofits and faith groups who are helping people end their homelessness.
By directing your dollars to organizations that can truly make a difference, you can ensure that your contribution is supporting long-term solutions in Avondale and across the Valley.

“Littles Learn and Connect” Monthly Saturday Program
This program is targeted for children under 5 years. Siblings and family members are invited to participate!

Healthy Smiles | Jun 28 | 2:30 – 4:30 pm Teach young children the importance of taking care of their teeth. Through games, crafts, songs, and playful activities.
Tiny Colors and Shapes | Jul 26 | 2:30 – 4:30 pm Discover how to identify, sort, and create with colors and shapes, helping them build early math and cognitive skills in a playful way!
Animal Class Adventure | Aug 23 | 2:30 – 4:30 pm Through hands-on activities, games, and fun challenges, kids will learn how to classify animals by their characteristics, habitats, and diets. It’s a wild adventure of discovery, helping children understand the amazing variety of animals in our world!
